Welcome to Houseplant Resource Center! 🌿

These are the rules for using our website and buying our products. We've tried to write them in plain English so you actually know what you're agreeing to. If you don't agree with these terms, you can't use our site – but we hope you'll stick around because we think they're pretty fair!

We might update these terms occasionally (plant businesses grow and change!), and we'll post any updates here. By continuing to use our site after changes are posted, you're agreeing to the new terms.

What We Do And What You Can Expect

We sell plant foods, soils, tools, and accessories that help you successfully care for your houseplants. We also share plant care guides and advice, and create online communities where fellow plant owners learn and grow together. When you place an order, we promise to:

• Process it as quickly as possible
• Pack your products with care
• Ship them safely to you
• Answer any questions you have about plant care

We'll do our best to make sure everything goes smoothly, but of course sometimes things happen, like shipping delays or inventory issues.

What We Need From You

Age Requirements You need to be at least 18 to make purchases. If you're under 18, please have a parent or guardian help you out.

Be Cool When you use our site, please:

• Don't try to hack or break anything
• Don't upload viruses or do anything that could hurt our site
• Don't use our site for anything illegal
• Be kind if you contact us or leave reviews

Product Quality

• Make sure your payment info is accurate
• Double-check your shipping address
• Understand that product availability can change

What You Own, What We Own

Your Account & Info You own your account information and order history. We'll protect it according to our Privacy Policy[1]

Our Content We own all the content on our site – the photos, plant care guides, product descriptions, logos, etc. Please don't copy our stuff without asking. We put a lot of work into creating helpful content and product info!

Your Reviews & Photos If you share photos or reviews of our products or how they've helped your plants, you're giving us permission to use them in our marketing (with credit to you, of course). Only share photos you own or have permission to use.

Things We Can't Control (And Aren't Responsible For)

Product Performance While we stand behind our products, we can't guarantee results because:

• Every plant and growing situation is different
• Proper application and use is essential
• Environmental factors affect how products work

Third-Party Stuff

• Payment processing is handled by Shopify and their partners
• Shipping is handled by our shipping partners
• We include links to other websites but can't control their content

Technical Issues Sometimes websites have problems. We'll fix issues as quickly as we can, but we can't guarantee the site will work perfectly 100% of the time.

Liability Limits (The Legal Stuff)

We provide our products and services "as is." While we stand behind our products and want you to be happy, we can't be responsible for:

• How well products work with your specific plants or growing conditions
• Results that don't meet your expectations due to application or environmental factors
• Lost profits or indirect damages
• Issues beyond the purchase price of your order

If something goes really wrong, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for that specific order.

If We Can't Work It Out These terms are governed by California law. Any legal disputes will be resolved in California courts. We'd much rather solve things with a friendly conversation, though.

California-Specific Info

Since we're based in California:

• California residents have specific rights under California consumer protection laws
• We follow California business regulations
• Sales tax will be charged on California orders

Final Notes

Changes to Terms We might update these terms as our business evolves. We'll post changes here and update the date at the top.

Severability If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

No Waiver If we don't enforce something once, it doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later.
